Press conference and more press coverage

Earlier today, at hour 91, Hold Out participants held a press conference to advertise that it had been 39 days since we first submitted a request to speak with Senator Coburn in person about his opposition to our bill without a response from the Senator or his office. (Sidenote: does this man still not understand how far these absolutely inspired activists will go to demand that he at least respect our basic democratic institutions?)

It seems right now that - even though this issue is blowing up in the Oklahoma press - Senator Coburn's strategy is to refuse to acknowledge their existence in an effort to out-hold-out the activists and destroy their morale. Obviously, that won't be happening any time soon.
