Watch Oklahoman Mark Nehrenz question Dr. Coburn on the bill at a town hall meeting

All-star activist Mark Nehrenz - who is the Oklahoma spokesperson for Dr. No Please Say Yes - tracked down Senator Coburn on Friday, February 19th to question him directly about his hold on the LRA Disarmament and Northern Uganda Recovery Act.

Some clarifications are in order. First, we are negotiating hard with Senator Coburn's staff in Washington, DC, but they have yet to accept compromise language that Senator Coburn has agreed to with other pieces of legislation. Second, we have proposed including language that would require funds authorized in the bill to come from existing State Department funds - as he calls for in the video - but they have not yet accepted it. That's why this campaign is seeking to get him personally engaged in finding compromise language that will work.
